What’s New Mastercam 2021 : Edit & Reflow UV Curves
UV Curves represent the underlying definition for a given face in solid geometry. Depending on how a specific face was originally created in CAD the curves may be very uniform and aligned, or they may be disorganized. Organizing UV curves is extremely helpful when a single toolpath needs to be applied to a complex region with even spacing and complete coverage. UV curves can now be modified individually, as a group, or made to copy a source surface. Reflow UV allows a new surface to be created as a single entity instead of disconnected geometric features. This workflow would be especially helpful for toolpaths such as flowline that follow the underlying UV curves automatically.
