SOLIDWORKS CAM creates programs for CNC machines and live inside the CAD model and update parametrically with the model as needed, with rebuilds only on impacted toolpaths. The Stock Manager has been enhanced to make it easier to best-fit stock shapes, including round bar stock. Peck parameters can now be set relative to the tool size for more automatic peck behavior across a wide range of hole sizes. The technology database can capture best-practices and set them as default values for all future programs.
