The 3 Best Things About SOLIDWORKS Inspection
SOLIDWORKS Inspection quickly and easily creates inspection reports from CAD drawings. Dimensions, tolerances, and other manufacturing data is captured automatically from the print.
SOLIDWORKS Inspection can be used in 3 different modes:
- SOLIDWORKS Inspection Add-in, where native CAD model characteristics are captured and the inspection data is stored with the CAD model or saved to inspection documents or a project.
- SOLIDWORKS Inspection Standalone, where a license of SOLIDWORKS is not required and the supported file formats list is much larger. Capture data from the face of any drawing, even scanned data!
- SOLIDWORKS Professional, which enables measurement input, CMM data import, and pass/fail overlays on the original drawing.
