SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation

SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation is an intuitive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solution embedded within SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD that enables you to quickly and easily simulate liquid and gas flows through and around your designs to calculate product performance and capabilities.

What's New in SOLIDWORKS 2019: Flow Simulation

Flow Simulation

SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation takes the complexity out of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) enabling engineers and designers to use CFD insights to make technical decisions in a concurrent engineering approach.

SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation

SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation offers two flow modules that encompass industry specific tools, practices and simulation methodologies — a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) module and an Electronic Cooling module. These modules are add-ons to a SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation license.

Flow Simulation

Parametric tool that uses Finite Volume Method (FVM) to calculate product performance through “what if” studies.

HVAC Module

Dedicated heating, cooling, and ventilation tools for simulating HVAC systems and radiation phenomena.

Electronics Cooling Module

Dedicated tools for accurate thermal analysis of electronic Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and enclosure designs.
