SOLIDWORKS Tech Tip: Correcting Symbol Library Location
SOLIDWORKS comes with a complete library of engineering and manufacturing symbols to communicate your design requirements. Symbols such as Diameter, Degrees, or Plus/Minus allow for concise design communication and are added automatically to your dimensions on the drawing. If you see text where your symbols should be, it is likely just a path issue commonly caused by an upgrade to a new version.
