MLC CAD Systems’ Application Expert Receives SolidWorks Elite Certification
AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MLC CAD Systems, one of the largest SolidWorks value-added-resellers in North America, announces that Daniel Wilson, one of the company’s application experts (AE’s) in its Tampa, FL office, was awarded the SolidWorks Elite AE Certification Award during SolidWorks World 2012 in San Diego.

The SolidWorks Elite AE Award recognizes the highest level of SolidWorks technical certification. It is awarded to Application Experts who pass a set amount of certification examinations outlined by the Elite AE Program and receive a personal recommendation by a SolidWorks Technical Manager. The award also recognizes each individual’s participation in the SolidWorks user communities, including local user groups and special events.

As a result Diversified Product Development, an MLC CAD Systems customer made the decision to standardize on SolidWorks as its preferred design package, according to Vice-President of Engineering Marvin Franklin.
The majority of the company’s business, roughly 70 percent, involves engineering consulting, requiring the firm to use a variety of 3D design tools to support the needs of its customers. These include the SolidWorks®, Pro/ENGINEER®, and Autodesk Inventor® 3D CAD systems.
